Butternut pumkins are a ground covering vine. They produce many medium sized pumpkins which are used baked and for soups.
Growing tip: Give your plants plenty of room. Once the fruit forms, the runners can be cut back to stop the plant spreading further. Suited to trellises.

Harvest: Pumpkins are ready when the stem has browned off. When harvesting leave some of the stem on the fruit.
